Grandma Goldsack`s Bakery in Lords Valley

Have been looking forward to visiting this bakery, so we got up early to get fresh pickings...Google site says open, so we get there at 8:30am...only to find it closed with a small paper sign in the window that says "see you next Friday and Saturday " They should change their Google hrs...Very disappointed !

Fabulous crumb cakes! The best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to try some of the other goodies. Nice people. Convenient little local bakery. Grateful.

best bakery around! Everything is made fresh every day and tastes so good. I go here very often and have tried it all. Everything is delicious. Not only that but the owners are fantastic people! I always feel like family when I go in. Grandma Gold sack puts so much care into the goods that she bakes and it truly shows! We ordered my daughters birthday cake which was vanilla cake with butter cream and vanilla custard filling and everyone raves about it. Some places make the frosting too sweet but Grabdma Goldsack made it perfect! Cake was super moist and very tasty. Can’t say enough great things about their bakery! Do yourself a favor and stop in and check it out!

Went today with my husband for coffee 10 min out of our way because I can’t stand Dunkin’ Donuts and there was no Starbucks around. The reviews were good so I decided to check it out. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by one of the owners. These are the friendliest people you will ever meet. Wound up ordering more than just coffee because the pastries were super fresh and delish! We are from NJ where we have access to many different foods and this was a treat. I highly recommend anyone in this area to stop by, you will not be disappointed. I’m very hard to please and never in my life gave a review of any place but I just had to this time. To the owners; We will be back next time we take the 1hr30 trio that way. The cappuccino and pastries was great! Thank you for great food and great service.

I like everything about Grandma Goldsack's bakery, including the wonderful baked goods and the warm, friendly service. Yolanda's cakes are tasty and especially tender. The variety of sweet and savory offerings is remarkable, given that everything is made by hand and baked on the premises. The new cafe is attractively designed and comfortable. Prices are reasonable. Bob and Yolanda are gracious hosts. Highly recommended.

Good little bakery owned by great people

Love this bakery just outside of Hemlock Farms off 739 in PA. They import NY bagels, have some delicious danishes and apple turnovers. They also sell Manahatten Special coffe soda, which is typically hard to find. They offer seating if you want to hang out a bit and chat with the owners. It's usually our first or last stop when visiting Hemlock Farms.

This is a very good and reasonably priced local bakery. The cherry Danish was probably the best Danish I've ever had and my wife loved the almond croissant. The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable. There is a really nice selection of breads. We will definitely stop by when we pass through the area. It is a small shop but we'll worth a visit.

You lost my business and many people I know! You’re a disgusting human being! The way you treat others speaks volumes on you and your business which is represented by YOU! Please do not frequent this bakery they ripped off local contractors who work very hard for their money!
